Dell

A comprehensive data center and server management application for IT professionals.

PM3 was a collaboration between Dell and Intel on data center device management. The application was created as the first “ground up” Clarity Mk.2 user experience for Dell’s initial foray into for-profit enterprise software.

solution

Clarity Mk.2, an UX ecosystem, will span the entire Dell enterprise software portfolio. The design, using a mix of scientific theory and creative industry practice, is based on the concept of “Read, Edit, Confirm.” Using consistent UX patterns, a robust visual design and a modular HTML code base, the design allows for targeted variations within an uniform structure. PM3 build challenges included designing a 1:Many navigation within an existing structure, visualization of complex graphical data, extensive information & typographic design and integrating a creative design process into AGILE development.
