Delta Airlines wanted an aspirational experience to highlight their price-competitive vacation packages. The site, a third party branded experience, was lacking basic functionality, relied on poor usability and lacked the integrated experience found on the redesigned Delta.com.

 
 

solution

Based on the new style guide, best practices and industry research, an immersive experience was created allowing users to explore vacation packages using different search queries. The new Escape Map, now aligned with the global site experience, still hosted within the third-party infrastructure, proved a major UX, visual and development success. The new  experience increased traffic and conversions, leading to a marked increase in revenue and profits.
